If you’re looking for the best Marrakech riads with pools then THIS is the post for you. See, I have stayed at MANY riads in Marrakech.
That’s mostly because I split my time between Marrakech and Essaouira. So, I sometimes need a place to stay in Marrakech for a few nights when I’m in transit and don’t want to book a full Airbnb.
I have also lived in Marrakech on and off since I have been living in Morocco since January of 2023. Therefore, I know all about some of the best riads in Marrakech.
But, I know even more about the best riads in Marrakech with pools since Marrakech is hot, like super hot. In fact, daily highs regularly soar above 45°C (113°F) in the summer.
So, pools come in mighty handy since you want a place to cool off from the intense mid-day heat. Just be aware that most riad pools are quite small. They’re really only plunge pools that are designed for a quick dip and not full-on swimming.
Therefore, don’t get super disappointed when you step inside your riad and the pool is a lot smaller than what you’re used to.
Besides that, having a pool at your Marrakech riad is an amazing experience and you do not want to miss out on one while staying inside a house with traditional Moroccan style architecture.
So, use this local guide to find all of the very best riads in Marrakech with pools right now. This way, you have one less thing to stress about since I have either stayed at or toured the riads outlined on this list.
PS: A riad is a tradtional Moroccan building where all of the rooms sit around a central courtyard. Sometimes this courtyard is open and has a pool, garden, fountain, etc.
They vary quite a bit but the ones in Marrakech usually feature open courtyards

Each room also features traditional Moroccan decor, has a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, and overlooks the gorgeous patio area. Yes, some of the nine rooms here can be a bit narrow, but the beds are big and super comfy.
“Outstanding staff who went above and beyond for us. There are only 9 rooms in the hotel and every guest is treated like royalty. Nour, Jamal, and the entire team were simply exceptional. They made our holiday.”

During your stay, you can also dig into a delicious buffet breakfast on the terrace, the patio, or privately in your room
But the best part? This riad has two pools for guests to use, one of which is heated (great for chilly nights) and sits on the roof.
Yup, gotta love a stunning rooftop pool since it is beautiful and surrounded by cactus and sun loungers with umbrellas.
It kind of feels like this amazing rooftop garden that you never want to leave and is probably one of the prettiest places in Morocco.
Other highlights include an epic on-site hammam since the treatments offered are super rejuvenating at one of the many luxury riads in Marrakech.
The Riad’s restaurant also serves delicious Moroccan dinners and flavorful cuisine that is great if you don’t feel like going out to some of the best restaurants in Marrakech.
You can also easily try some of the top walking tours in Marrakech from here.
2. Riad Anya & SPA
⭐️ Rating: 9.7/10.0 (1121 Reviews) Price: $230+ per night 📍Location: 149 derb sidi M’barek Quartier Sidi mimoun, 40000 Marrakesh Details: Read more on booking.com now!
Full disclosure? Riad Anya & Spa is NOT in the Medina and sits along the edge of the Hivernage neighborhood.
However. that’s not a bad thing since you’ll be a 10-minute walk away from Jemaa el Fna Square.
TBH, it’s actually a really good location since you’re near the Medina but don’t have to deal with the chaos and noise created by all the best souks in Marrakech.
Anyway, in terms of the property itself, this riad has suites with warm, Moroccan-inspired decor as well as private bathrooms with sleek, modern amenities for a supremely comfy stay.
“Thanks to all the wonderful people at the Riad Anya who made us feel so at home. We were so well looked after. Every meal was a different delicious taste of traditional Marrakech cuisine. We fell in love with this beautiful place and we will most certainly be coming back. The Riad was deep in the old town and within walking distance of a true Moroccan adventure.”

Their indoor/outdoor pool is also BIG and situated inside a charming central courtyard with lanterns hanging overhead.
Additionally, an epic breakfast is included with your stay. So, dig into traditional Moroccan foods like batbout, msemmen, omelets, harsha, and cake while looking out at the pool.
Afterward, head up to a spacious rooftop terrace where you can relax in a hot tub before chilling on one of their sweet lounge chairs and enjoy epic views of Koutoubia Mosque.
The staff are also amazing and I actually got sad when I had to say “goodbye”. Like, they gave me a place to freshen up after I checked out since I was leaving until the evening. Yeah, how nice is that?
Honestly, everything about this property is next-level amazing and if you have the money for it, stay here. All you need is a travel adaptor for the Morocco electrical outlets and you’ll be good to go.
PS: The hammam and massage services are also top-notch. So, be sure to try this hammam in Marrakech during your stay. One of my tips for visiting Morocco is to visit the hammam.
3. Riad NayaNour
⭐️ Rating: 9.5/10.0 (671 Reviews) Price: $140+ per night 📍Location: 40 Derb El Halfaoui, Bad Doukala, Medina, 40000 Marrakesh Details: Read more on booking.com now!
Well-located near Bab Doukalla and the Dar El Bacha Museum, Riad NayaNour features seven chic, modern rooms with Western-style decor and spacious sitting areas.
Sure, there are a few Moroccan accent pieces here and there. But, the rooms have more of a Western vibe. Although, I do love that they are soundproofed, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep.
“VERY beautiful riad, very clean and visually it’s just gorgeous! Excellent location, right at the edge of the media where the taxis drop off so very convenient and very easy to get to. Our taxi rang when we were almost there and a staff member from the riad came to get us and our bags. Staff are so lovely and friendly and very helpful, helped us booking excursions and the company they booked our hot air balloon ride with were excellent and the price was better than online. We ate breakfast here everyday and it was delicious. Also the spa they recommend is EXCELLENT! Overall I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this riad, couldn’t fault it in any way.”

Additionally, some rooms overlook a gorgeous central courtyard with a well-sized pool. You also have access to a rooftop terrace with full-on cabana beds and sun loungers.
An on-site restaurant also serves amazing local cuisine as well as a complimentary continental breakfast that includes local bread, yogurt, fresh pastries, and pancakes.
There is even a coffee shop and packed lunches can be arranged upon request. Plus, the staff are just amazing (so be sure to tip in Marrakech) and will actually be waiting outside for you, upon arrival, so that they can help you with your luggage.
4. Riad BE Marrakech
⭐️ Rating: 9.3/10.0 (261 Reviews) Price: $130+ per night 📍Location: 23 Derb Sidi Lahcen o Ali, Bab Doukkala, Medina, Medina, 40030 Marrakesh Details: Read more on booking.com now!
Situated within two exquisitely decorated buildings, Riad BE Marrakech is located a bit outside the Medina and is a 20-minute walk from the Medina.
It’s also not the quietest riad in the world (bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper since you can hear people in the other rooms) and some of the beds could be improved since they aren’t super comfy.
However, the interior of this riad is beautifully decorated and guests will love having access to a gorgeous terrace with panoramic views of the medina, pool, and an on-site restaurant.
“From the moment you walk in, you feel relaxed – not only by the space but by the awesome friendly team there too. Everything was perfect and the house team, superb.”
Ashley (read more reviews)
TBH, the decor here is absolutely stunning and each individually decorated room looks like it was made for an Instagram photo shoot.
They all feature amazing traditional textiles, free Wi-Fi, and living rooms, as well as heated floors and sleeping lofts in some higher-end rooms..
The outdoor pool in the central courtyard is also lovely and is a decent size. It has exquisite tilework and is surrounded by beautiful traditional Moroccan doors as well as a variety of potted plants.
It’s basically a space you want to sit in and never leave. You’ll also love that breakfast is included and features a wide variety of delicious and healthy items like pancakes and a fruit bowl.
There’s even a second pool as well as a large rooftop terrace for you to hang out on. I just wish that the pools were heated since they can get cold.
Local Tip: If you like this riad with a pool in Marrakech then book WELL in advance since they fill up quickly.
5. Riad Adika & Spa
⭐️ Rating: 9.2/10.0 (804 Reviews) Price: $120+ per night 📍Location: Sidi Bouamar Quartier Riad Laarous, Medina, 40000 Marrakesh Details: Read more on booking.com now!
One of the best Marrakech riads with a pool, Riad Adika & Spa is a luxurious hotel in the Medina that sits near Bab Doukalla and a local park.
Rooms are large and include a desk, sitting area, free wifi, and complimentary toiletries in the en-suite bathroom. Warm and welcoming rooms also sit around a charming central courtyard with a small plunge pool.
“We had a wonderful stay at Riad Adika! Nice, beautiful and fantastic staff. They helped us in every possible way. The room was perfect and very clean. Only 5 minutes walk to the medina, restaurants and atm.”

It sits beneath an open-air atrium and is where you can enjoy a delicious, free breakfast in the morning. Afterward, head to a lovely rooftop terrace and relax on a couch beneath some wicker lamps.
Or, chill on a sun lounger before grabbing a meal at their on-site restaurant.
One drawback is that the rooms can get noisy in the morning. So, if you’re a light sleeper, bring ear plugs.
6. Riad Farhan
⭐️ Rating: 9.1/10.0 (1204 Reviews) Price: $120+ per night 📍Location: Derb Tizougarine 74, Medina, 40000 Marrakesh Details: Read more on booking.com now!
Per usual, Riad Farhan is situated inside Marrakech’s iconic medina, which is one of the best areas to stay in Marrakech.
Each room is furnished with light, bright modern decor that is enhanced by small Moroccan touches like traditional lamps and authentic Berber rugs.
Air conditioning, spacious sitting areas, and private bathrooms (with a bath or shower) are also available.
Again, this is one of the best Marrakech riads with pools that has two swimming pools to choose from. TBH, the one in the central courtyard is nice but definitely a bit small.
I like the rooftop terrace though since it reminds me of a plush, modern tent with lots of cozy white couches tucked away beneath a white tarp.
“Very cozy and beautifully decorated Riad in a very good location. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the staff was very helpful and nice. We had a very good time there and will definitely go back.”
Ioana (read more reviews now)
There are also lots of sun loungers to relax on (even if the area can get dusty) and a wealth of well-decorated common areas to enjoy if you don’t want to sit on the roof.
Other fab amenities include a wellness center, luggage storage, laundry services, massages, hairdressing services, cooking classes, shuttle services, and Marrakech day tour bookings.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention that breakfast is also included with your stay and features cheese, bread, cake, tea, juice, fresh fruit, jam, butter, etc.
The one downside is that the staff can be a bit MIA, which is fine since you probably won’t have any issues during your stay at this Marrakech riad with a pool.
7. Riad Villa Wengé & Spa
⭐️ Rating: 9.4/10.0 (867 Reviews) Price: $110+ per night 📍Location: N4 Derb Messfioui Rahab Medina, Medina, 40000 Marrakesh Details: Read more on booking.com now!
Well-located in the center of the Medina, this sleek and stylish riad has a lot of contemporary touches that make it feel very modern. So, if you are looking for a riad with a more tradtional vibe then this is NOT the place for you!.
However, all rooms are super chic and well-outfitted with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and deep soaking tubs. If you opt for a suite, you’ll even get a romantic canopy bed and a spacious living room.
“Staff was amazing, all guys that are working were very polite and helpful. Even though it’s in the center of Medina, it wasn’t noisy. It’s within 4-5 min from main squere. They organized 3 day/2 nights Merzouga tour for us which was great and they kept our luggage there even though that we checked out. Breakfast was wonderful and lots of options. I would definately recommend this place.”
Filip (read more reviews now)
It’s also worth noting that they don’t really have a pool. Rather, they have a hot tub on a walled, rooftop terrace. It’s a super nice space with lots of uber-comfy sun loungers, but it is not a full pool.
They also have a chic modern pond in the atrium that is a great spot to hang out since there is a lovely garden here too.
Other highlights include a spa/hammmam on-site as well as a delicious complimentary breakfast of avocado, omelets, baghrir, msemen, bread, baghrir, etc.
The staff are also so nice that they will actually accompany you out to your early morning taxi. Just be aware that they bathroom is in the bedroom and isn’t super private. So, this might be an issue when traveling with friends.
8. Riad l’Oiseau du Paradis
⭐️ Rating: 9.4/10.0 (2201 Reviews) Price: $110+ per night 📍Location: 27 Derb Cherrata Arset El Houta, Medina, 44000 Marrakesh Details: Read more on booking.com now!
The first thing I love about Riad l’Oiseau du Paradis is that it’s located in and around the Mellah.
This is a quieter part of the Medina where you won’t have to worry about making your way through hordes of tourists as you and 10,000 other people walk through the souks.
In addition to a quiet locale, this property has sleek, modern rooms with four-poster beds, traditional carved furniture, and colorful fabrics that give the space a modern Moroccan feel.
“It’s a beautifully decorated, central and quiet hotel, great staff, good food and nice terraces in the sun. Will be back!”
Carolina (read more reviews now)
All rooms also come with an attached bathroom, spacious sitting areas, and free Wi-Fi that is good but not amazing. Additoonally, rooms open out onto a charming, open-air courtyard with a medium-sized pool.
A daily breakfast filled with tradtional Moroccan dished is also included with your stay, as is access to a charming rooftop terrace where can relax after a long day in Marrakech.
The one downside is that rooms are quite small and the call to prayer can wake you up in the morning. So, be sure to add ear plugs to your Marrakech packing list.
9. Riad Kasbah and Spa
⭐️ Rating: 9.4/10.0 (921 Reviews) Price: $110+ per night 📍Location: Derb Harbil N°101,La Kasbah, Kasbah, 40000 Marrakesh Details: Read more on booking.com now!
This stunning 4-star property is well-located in the Medina and is actually just a 7-minute walk from Jamaa el Fna square.
Now, one my all-time fave things about Riad Kasbah & Spa is that it is home to not one, but two swimming pools that are open year-round. Plus, these pools are larger and not tiny little plunge pools.
“Everything was great! Especially Mohammad was always smiling and provided every service he could!

Really authentic! True Moroccan heritage and peace ambiance!”
Each suite is also uniquely decorated and includes a/c, a private bathroom, and breathtaking views of the property. If you want, you can even bring your pets with you for a small additional fee.
This Marrakech riad with a pool also offers a complimentary Moroccan breakfast that is homemade and served to you by the pool. It includes delicious things like freshly squeezed juice, bread, yogurt, eggs, mint tea, and more.
They also have a stunning sun terrace (with sun loungers and umbrellas) for your to relax on and a gorgeous inner courtyard that you’ll basically never want to leave.
Yeah, I found myself just chilling in the courtyard with a complimentary Moroccan mint tea since their courtyard is THAT pretty.
One negative is that due to the property’s location, the morning call to prayer from a nearby mosque can sometimes wake you up at 5:00 am.
10. Riad Utopia Suites And Spa

Additionally, there are lots of tables set up on the terrace. So, you can relax at a table and enjoy a complimentary breakfast of fruit, msemmen, bread, tea, juice, coffee (the coffee is so good), and more. But, you can also eat breakfast by the pool.
The staff are also super friendly and are happy to offer lots of recommendations as well as nice snacks upon arrival.
PS: I hear the on-site hamman is not great so you may want to skip it. You can also check out one of the top cooking classes in Marrakech while you are here.
11. Riad Le Jardin d’Abdou

It’s approximately a 10-minute walk to Bahia Palace and about a 30-minute walk to Koutoubia Mosque.
I love the location because it’s peaceful but still located near the city center. The riad itself exudes luxury, boasting grand white archways that encircle a central courtyard with a delightful fountain and a refreshing plunge pool.
“Wonderful stay. The riad is beautiful, clean, and quiet, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. The pool area is a lovely haven from the heat. The dinner at the restaurant is absolutely delicious – the best food we ate in Morocco so we ate at the riad twice and highly recommend!”

I also love the cozy atmosphere of this place, with its nine uniquely decorated rooms that feature free WiFi, handmade furniture, four-poster beds, Berber rugs, fireplaces, cozy sitting areas, and free water.
The rooms are spacious and adorned with stylish touches such as bathrobes and complimentary toiletries in beautifully designed Moroccan-style bathrooms.

Just don’t miss the opportunity to unwind on the stunning rooftop terrace and enjoy their complimentary breakfast here.
Local Tip: The location may not be ideal for solo female travelers in Marrakech since you could encounter some harassment from local men in the area.
12. Riad Porte Royal

Established in 2011 by the owner, Carlos, Riad Shambala sits along the outskirts of the Medina.
The riad was constructed using only traditional Moroccan building techniques, featuring Tadelakt plaster (hand-polished limestone plaster), Bejmat (baked clay), and genuine Moroccan tiles throughout the interior.
“The staff is very gentil. always eager to help us and guide us. I 100% recommend this Riad. the breakfast was traditional and good. The common area was so chill and calm, a good place to work or read.”

In terms of the rooms, they come equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and bathrooms that include complimentary toiletries.
Each room opens onto a charming patio that leads to a small plunge pool, perfect for a quick dip rather than actual swimming.
Additionally, there is a stunning rooftop terrace with sun loungers, offering sweeping views of the northern parts of the Medina.
Although this budget riad in Marrakech is situated about a 15-20 minute walk from the center of the Medina, it’s nice because you’ll enjoy a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the souks.
A continental breakfast is also served in the dining room and you’ll love how exceptionally friendly the staff is. They are always ready to assist you with anything you need.
However, be cautious of locals who may try to escort you to the riad in hopes of earning money. Yeah, it’s usually a scam.
