7 Best Tour Companies in Morocco in 2025

Look, I get why you might be looking for the best tour companies in Morocco. Sometimes it’s just easier and more cost effective if you book a group tour.

This way you don’t have to worry about every little detail of your trip and can just relax while hiking through the Atlas Mountains or riding across the dunes of the Sahara.

Personally, I do not think you NEED a group tour to travel through Morocco. I have lived here (since January of 2023) and have traveled throughout much of the country, on my own, without any problems.

I felt totally safe as a woman on my own and never really felt like I needed a guide. However, a lot of people are NOT me, which is why I am writing this post.

Many people love having a tour guide on hand to explain the nuanced history of this amazing country and the fascinating culture of its awe-inspiring people.

Many travelers also like to interact with like-minded individuals as they explore Marrakech’s chaotic Medina or admire the beautiful blue streets of Chefchaouen.

So, if you are looking for the best group tour in Morocco then THIS is the post for you. Full disclosure? I am not big into group tours.

Therefore, I polled my readers and asked them to give me their picks for the all-around best tours in Morocco. This way, you can plan the best trip possible with the best company possible.

FYI, I am in no way, shape, or form affiliated with any of these companies. As a result, I make no commission should you book any of these tours.

I am simply sharing the names of tour companies that real people love and recommend over and over again. My only hope is that you can use this post to find the best Morocco tour company for you. This way you can have the best trip possible.

Best Tour Companies in Morocco

1. Morocco Colourful Tours

Morocco Colourful Tours is by far the MOST HIGHLY recommended tour company among my readers. They LOVE that the guides are always on time and are extremely knowledgeable about the places they bring you.

So, no vague, half-hearted commentaries about things you’re not interested in. No, by the end of your trip, you’ll feel like a full-on Moroccan historian since your guide will give you THAT much amazing information.

The drivers are also well-trained and carefully take you on meticulously organized trips that can last anywhere between one and fifteen days.

The best part? All of their tours are either private or small group tours. So, you’ll enjoy awesome, personalized attention when booking trips that depart from Marrakech, Fes, Casablanca, and beyond.

You can even sign up for an amazing Marrakech to Fes desert tour.

Along the way, you’ll also get to stay in some of the best riads in Morocco and can eat delicious, authentic Moroccan cuisine at fantastic local restaurants in Marrakech and beyond.

So, what are you waiting for? Book a tailor-made private or small group tour with fun, informative, friendly, and flexible local guides who will take you to some of the coolest places in Morocco.

Local Tip: Be sure to get a SIM card in Morocco before your tour. This way it is easier for your leader to stay in touch with you.

2. Authentic Expedition

Authentic Expedition is a dedicated tour operator in Morocco that focuses on private tours.

Therefore, they have an array of itineraries for you to choose from that will help you experience Morocco like never before.

However, they are also happy to design custom tours that will introduce you to diverse landscapes, authentic local markets, and mouthwatering Moroccan cuisine.

But, with Authentic Expedition, it’s not just about the journey but about the excellent service you’ll receive along the way.

As a result, customers rave that the experience is incredible from “start to finish” since the company uses friendly, knowledgeable guides who are eager to introduce you to the best and safest cities in Morocco.

Overall, they are a great company to work with if you want a custom tour since they pay exquisite attention to detail, use comfortable, well-maintained vehicles, and provide you with authentic local experiences you’ll never forget as you plan a cool day trip from Tangier.

3. Morocco Vacation Tours

This Moroccan tour operator comes highly recommended by both my readers and Tripadvisor customers.

That’s because Morocco Vacation Tours is a small, family-run organization that has been in business for well over twenty years.

Their goal is to have experienced drivers and incredible, multi-lingual guides take you on incredible, authentic, super personal journies throughout Morocco.

As a result, you can embark on an amazing 3-day desert tour from Marrakech to Fes, a vibrant 10-day tour from Tangier to Marrakech, a two-week trip through Morocco starting in Casablanca, and more

Simply, choose from available itineraries that range between 3 days to 2 weeks, and Morocco Vacation Tours will take care of the rest. This way you don’t have to choose between Marrakech and Agadir.

Or, create your very own custom itinerary and enjoy sitting in new, air-conditioned, four-wheel drive vehicles with local drivers and licensed guides.

However, what I love most is that these trips can be designed with every type of traveler in mind, including families, friends, solo travelers, and anyone else who wants to experience Morocco.

You can also book confidently knowing that your trip will fairly compensate and benefit everyone involved. Other highlights include rapid replies, personalized service, a worry-free trip, and a super safe experience.

4. Vacations to Go

A view of the brown water and people swimming in Paradise Valley just outside of Agadir. If you want to know hot to get to Essaouira then you can also leave from Agadir.

Based out of Houston, Texas, Vacations to Go has been in business since 1984. So, yeah, clearly they are doing something right.

The one thing I don’t like is that they do not specialize in Morocco tours. Rather, they are a general tour operator with six unique Morocco-inspired trips to choose from.

On the plus side, groups are small (no more than 9 people), they respond to inquiries within a day, they offer between six and 12-day excursions, and tours cost $250.00 per day or less.

Personally, I think that price is a bit high for a tour to Morocco. However, my readers love this company and say that the price charged is justified given the quality of service offered.

Just be aware that when you try to look for a tour, you will have to register before you get to see all of their Morocco-themed trips. Personally, I find this a bit annoying but that’s just how their site works. GRR.

5. Cultural Morocco Tours

Cultural Morocco Tours is based out of Marrakech and offers a wide range of tours that can last for anywhere between 2 and 30 days.

You’ll also definitely be able to find the perfect tour for you since they feature upwards of 59 different tours that tend to cost a reasonable $80.00 per day.

The one thing I am not into is that the tours can have upwards of 80 people. Yeah, sorry, but that is a bit too big for me personally. Therefore, just ask before you book to make sure you are traveling with a smaller group.

On the plus side, they offer private tours and will be happy to create a custom itinerary for you if that is something that you’re interested in. It’s also nice that they have a ton of experience and have been in business for 15+ years.

Additionally, I like that the emphasis here is on authentic cultural experiences. So, guides don’t just share information. They act as ambassadors from their country.

Therefore, they go out of their way to share their own cultural traditions and heritage with their guests, something that helps create authentic, one-of-a-kind experiences.

6. Intrepid

This is the view of the ocean from cafe Hara. White tables cascade down the hill and you see a tree on the right with people sitting at tables on a sunny day.

I know this is a big company that you’ve probably already heard of. However, that also means that they’ve been in business for a while and are super reputable.

In the past, I have done Intrepid tours and really enjoyed them. I think they are well-run and give you a great overview of a country in a short amount of time.

Currently, Intrepid has 33 different Morocco-focused tours to choose from (some include other countries). I like that they cover a range of different price points, focus on different parts of the country, and can last between 3 and 24 days.

So, if you want to visit southern Morocco since you’ve already been to Northern Morocco then you should have no problem finding an epic tour in Morocco.

Other benefits of choosing Intrepid are that they run small group tours (max 12 people), they are environmentally friendly, they use unique itineraries, and have a strong commitment to the local community.

The last time I used Intrepid I also liked that my group had a mix of younger and older travelers. Although, they do have trips dedicated to travelers between 18 and 35 if you want to travel with a younger crowd.

7. Nomadic Tours

Aerial view of the tanneries in Fes with lots of different colored dies in them. Visiting the tanneries is one way you can decide if Fes or Marrakech is better.

This Morocco tour specialist has been in business for over 20 years. They offer around 15 different tours of Morocco that are well-priced and focus on different themes. So, if you want a teen tour then Nomadic Tours is perfect for you.

They also have tours, ranging between 5 and 15 days, that cater to the needs of families, hikers in the Atlas Mountains, and adventurers, trips that are led by awesome local guides who will quickly become your friends.

I also like that regardless of the group size, the tour will still continue as planned! So, even if it’s just two people, you don’t ever have to worry about your trip getting canceled.

Just book your tour for Marrakech in February and you’ll be good to go.

You even have the option of signing up for a Christmas-inspired tour or a private tour if you feel like riding a camel through the dunes of the Sahara on your own.

Conclusion

That wraps up this guide to the best tour companies in Morocco. I hope you found this post useful and now know exactly which company is perfect for you.

If it were me, I would go with Morocco Colourful Tours. I have heard nothing but amazing things about this company and love that they specialize in travel all across Morocco.

They also provide exceptional service that includes stays at the best riads in the country and meals at some of the country’s best restaurants. So, stop stressing and use your favorite Morocco tour company to book an amazing trip today.
