No, you won’t be embarking on a two-hour camel ride through the desert. But, you will get a taste of local culture and enjoy delicious food while exploring the Agafay Desert via a camel ride and quad bike ride.
You’ll even get to stop at a local Argan Oil Women’s Cooperative and see how they make various traditional products by hand. TBH, this experience is included in basically every tour in Morocco.
But, it is a great place to get souvenirs from Morocco and cool items from Marrakech since you know that everything they sell is real and of the highest quality. Sadly, the same can’t be said for some of what you’ll find in the souks of Marrakech.
Overall, this is a great camel tour if you want to enjoy a lot of cool things to do in Marrakech in a short amount of time. Omar is also a great guide and goes out of his way to make sure that the trip is a TON of fun.

Last but not least is this Marrakech Camel Ride Tour. It’s nothing fancy but is a solid choice if you don’t give a fig about any of that other stuff and just want to ride a camel in Marrakech.
Essentially, you’ll get picked up from your hotel and driven to the Palmeraie. I like that the driver is super nice and will point out local landmarks along the way. It was also nice that the driver confirmed the trip the day before via WhatsApp.
Once here, you’ll be treated to some Moroccan mint tea and get dressed in traditional Berber clothes so that you can take lots of awesome photos.

Yeah, it can get really hot and the sun can be very intense during the day. So, pack some water, lots of sunscreen, and a hat to help keep you cool.
You may also want to pack a scarf to cover your face. This way sand won’t blow into your mouth and up your nose during your camel ride.
